TOO MANY FORMATS
What kind of cameras do you support?
-RED, Alexa, DSLR... We handle virtually any digital format you can throw at us.
-Acquisition formats we handle - CF, SxS, P2, SD, Hard Disk, SSD, MiniDV, HDV, plus many more.
How much storage space do I need?
-Knowing how many GigaBytes or even TeraBytes is crucial.
-We will work with you to figure out your shooting ratio to answer these questions.
-It is recommended that you buy new drives specifically for your project.
How will you work with my editor?
-Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premier... We cater to the editors needs no matter the requirements.
-The transcoded files will already be prepared for the NLE of your editor’s choice.
-We will log the clips according to Scene and Take and store it in the MetaData.
-The MetaData is stored and exported in an XML file suited to the editor’s NLE.
How will you work with my sound mixer?
-Sound Syncing is a tedious job so we recommend a smart slate along with a lock-it box.
-If the camera is recording a scratch track, this will also speed up the sound sync process.
-Sound cards are secured along side camera media to sync on an ‘as they are available’ basis.
How do you know what the color should look like?
-We will meet with the Director and Director of Photography to deliver a conceptualized first light pass.
-We can save your Look Up Tables in DaVinci Resolve or Color.
-We can accommodate your Director of Photography's needs and coordinate color at the source.
How soon can I see my dailies and how can I see them?
-Our turnaround time depends on the format shot and services being provided.
-After the memory card is delivered to the truck, the turn around is between 30 and 45 minutes.
-We create and securely stream high quality h.264 files to iPads for on set viewing.
